Meet the editorial team
thera.news is produced by a small editorial team focused on behavioral health policy, regulation, and clinical research. We are not clinicians, but we are experienced at reading statutes, agency notices, payer policies, and court filings — and explaining what they mean for the people running practices and making clinical decisions.

thera.news Editorial — Editorial home
The team reviews every item before publication. When AI is used to summarize long public documents, a human editor verifies the summary against the source and adds the practice-level interpretation.
How we work
Every item that goes into the weekly digest or a state page follows the same process: identify a public-source development, summarize what changed, explain the practice-level implication, and link directly to the primary source. If a claim is time-sensitive, we include the effective date or the date the source was published. We do not publish items without a source we can point to.
The team uses AI tools to help summarize long public documents, but no item is published without human review. We do not use AI to invent citations, generate quotes, or write analysis without editorial oversight.
Parent organization
thera.news is operated as part of a portfolio of health information sites. We maintain editorial independence: coverage is not reviewed by sponsors before publication, and sponsors do not influence which items we track. Revenue from sponsorships or affiliate relationships is disclosed where applicable.
How to pitch or contribute
We welcome tips from clinicians, billers, practice managers, and policy watchers. The best pitches include a link to a public source and a sentence about why it matters to a behavioral health practice. We do not accept guest posts, pay for placement, or publish sponsored news items.
